Meet Dr. Weon Seob Lee, L.Ac., Ph.D. – Clinic Director at Rapha Acupuncture

Dr. Weon Seob Lee, licensed in California, Florida, and Georgia, is a board-certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM and brings over 25 years of international clinical experience to his practice. Currently serving patients in Newport Beach, CA, Dr. Lee is known for his compassionate care, advanced acupuncture techniques, and customized treatment plans rooted in holistic healing.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Lee worked as an engineer in South Korea, enjoying a stable income and fulfilling lifestyle. Driven by a lifelong passion for natural healing and Oriental medicine, he made a bold decision to leave engineering behind and move to the United States with his wife and two young children. As a new immigrant, he faced language barriers and cultural differences—but remained committed, studying Oriental medicine while supporting his family and building a new life from the ground up.

After graduating from South Baylo University in Anaheim, CA, in 2002, Dr. Lee went on to receive advanced training in Master Tung’s Acupuncture and Sa-am Constitutional Acupuncture. Over the years, he has founded multiple Oriental medicine clinics across the U.S., helping expand access to effective, natural healthcare in diverse communities.

Dr. Lee’s dedication to his patients is matched only by his dedication to his craft. With a gentle needling technique and years of clinical insight, he treats each patient with precision, empathy, and a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to heal.

Beyond practicing medicine, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking, fishing, and rock climbing—activities that reflect his belief in balance, wellness, and living life to the fullest.
